BeginnerSpeed Dial
Speed dials allow the users to quickly call another extension or phone number without the need to dial the number manually. Each user has a limited number of speed dials that are configured. These speed dials are setup at "BLF" keys which allows the users to see if the speed dial is currently available or unavailable. If the button is red that means the user is currently busy, unavailable, or on another call. If the button is green, it means that the user is currently available to receive calls.
Voicemail
Voicemail allows each user to receive voicemails from callers. By default users must setup their mailbox. Users can access their mailbox in four ways. Method 1, the user hits the voicemail button on the phone, Method 2, the user calls their own extension from their phone, Method 3, the users dials *97, or Method 4, the user logs into their account through the PBX webpage.
Once the user access their mailbox for the first time, with the password 1234, they will need to hit "5" to setup their mailbox. This will guide the user to setup their name, their greeting, and their password.
By default, users will also receive their voicemails via email.
Park
The park feature allows a phone user to place a call on hold and can return to it at a later point. This feature also allows for other users to pick up calls placed on park. There are three parking spots that are available by default, in order to use them the current user just has to push a button labeled "Park" to place the caller on park.
Transfer
Transfer will allow the current user to transfer their current call to a new user. This can be done while on the call by selecting the transfer button from the dial pad or screen while on the call. Two options will be available, "Transfer" and "Blind Transfer." Transfer will place the caller on hold while the user establishes the transfer. Blind transfer will send the caller immediately to the new user.
Complete user manual can be found at:
Each device is provisioned specifically for the domain that the client site requests. Each button can be configured to how the customer would like the phone setup. To get the best and most accurate information, it is best to look at the manual created by Yealink.
